FTP

FTP (File Transfer Protocol) moves files between client and server over the network. Classic FTP sends credentials and file contents unencrypted — it is insecure on untrusted networks. SFTP, FTPS, and object storage are better choices for new designs, but plain FTP persists in legacy integrations, especially in finance and vendor B2B feeds where partners have not migrated. SadServers scenarios train you to configure and fix real FTP servers on Linux.
